Ikon Photography wishes you all a Very Happy Christmas

Donating to charities instead of sending out Christmas cards and gifts has become a tradition for us at Ikon Photography.

Over the years we have donated to debt support, homeless and cancer charities and various other good causes, this year we have decided to donate to Bury Hospice.

As some of you may know, I run a community choir in my home town of Ramsbottom near Bury, with over 90 people enjoying companionship and getting pleasure from singing, no matter what their ability.

Each concert we put on is in aid of a charity and we have just had a very successful Christmas show, and all the proceeds are going to Bury Hospice, which serves our community.

The hospice provides medical care to local people living with a life-threatening illnesses whilst supporting their families and carers. Improving the quality of life for those with life limiting conditions, either as inpatients at the hospice or in the comfort of their homes in the wider community. It costs around £7,000 per day to run with only 25 per cent of this coming from the NHS.

So this year Ikon is also donating to Bury Hospice to help support the wonderful service they provide and to bring a little festive cheer to this worthy local institution, to the patients who receive such excellent care, to their families and also to the staff who work there so tirelessly. Help us contribute to the hope and comfort Bury hospice brings in this, the season of goodwill, by donating whatever you feel able.
