At Ikon we are regularly photographing products for a number of brands to feature in the Sunday supplements and magazines, this means we take an editorial location photography approach providing the requirements suited to this sector.

The editorial style we set in our location photography approach differentiated Tom Howley from the competition and positioned the brand as a premium offering in the sector.

This location was a unique mixture of the traditional and contemporary style. The client had extended a traditional stone built property, adding a striking contemporary extension with a modern bespoke Tom Howley kitchen. We had brought a large selection of props to give the pictures the feel we were looking for. Many people never think that all this has happened with the final shots, a testament to a good stylist.

We are always aware that we are entering a client home and always take the time to put the owner at their ease, explaining what we are doing and the approach we will take. We shoot over a day and produced a wide variety of shots enabling editors to have creative control over layout and features they may wish to showcase.

Over the past few years, we have photographed many homes for use in the editorial press, home interest magazines and for advertising, PR, website and social media marketing.

Our interior photography has contributed enormously to enabling the Tom Howley brand to grow, they now have showrooms all over the country and are predicting continued growth.
